Cut your white sock, just above the heel.
Fill your white sock with rice, tie a knot at the top and trim any excess sock off.
Tie either an elastic band or some thread around your filled sock, to make a head shape for your snowman.
Cut the toe end of your festive sock, about half way between the heel and toe.
Arrange it onto the snowman’s head to make a nice hat. You can roll the bottom up a bit and tie either an elastic band or some thread around the tip to make a bobble.
Decorate your snowman’s body with buttons, and either glue little bits of pipe cleaners or use felt tip pens to draw a face.
Cut a thin strip from your festive sock and tie it around the neck to give your snowman a matching scarf.
